Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea sent a personal letter to President Moon Jae-in today. In the letter, Chairman Kim conveyed his warm greetings upon the conclusion of 2018 and delivered a message suggesting that the leaders of the two Koreas continue to work together for peace and prosperity on the Peninsula next year. Chairman Kim noted that President Moon and he had held meetings three times this past year and agreed on substantive and bold measures that transcended the long-running confrontation between the South and North.
